He didn't know what he wanted to be when he grew up. He'd dabbled in a little of everything. Like the rest of the kids, he'd been on stage from a very early age.

 

Dave played a Page to the late Larry B. Ayo's King Arthur in Camelot	He was Linus in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown	Oliver! was a family affair

He also sang and danced for two years with the high school jazz choir and even traveled with that group to New Orleans for a competition (which they won).

An impromptu performance just off   Bourbon St.

But he also loved sports, played on the JV football team for a year, and was an avid 49er fan. He loved skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. One summer he went hiking with a group of friends and they got back to nature so completely that they hiked out from their campground, 7 miles, in the nude.
